Off to Croke Park
Congratulations to Shane Finnegan, Drumheel and Ronan O’Reilly, Corstruce, pupils at St. Felim’s N.S. Ballinagh who have been chosen to play at the intervals of the concluding stages of the All Ireland Football Championship.
Ronan will play at the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday 23rd August and Shane will play during the All-Ireland Final on Sunday 20th September. Both boys were chosen because of their outstanding performances at the Ulster Schools trials, which were held in Armagh last June.
St.Felim’s N.S. qualified for the Ulster trials because they won the Cavan mini sevens schools finals last May. Ronan and Shane continue the great traditions of boys and girls from the school having the honour of displaying their skills in Croke Park over the years on All-Ireland semi-final and finals day.
