A Club with a proud heritage based in the the beautiful county of Cavan. The club was founded in 1888 and has grown from strength to strength ever since.

Seniors and Juniors complete double over Redhills
The Senior side produced an excellent second-half display to run out comfortable winners over Redhills on Friday night, notching up 2-17 to the visitors\' 2-08. The Junior side also enjoyed a big win on Sunday afternoon, cruising to a 3-21 to 1-8 victory over the same opposition.

ACFL: Ballinagh down depleted Rories
Ballinagh bounced back from their disappointing opening defeat to Killeshandra in the ACFL Division One to claim two points at the expense of a depleted Belturbet side last Sunday afternoon at Rory O\'Moore Park.

Ballinagh are Ulster Champions
Ballinagh did themselves and Cavan club football proud when on Sunday, 25th of November at Healy Park, Omagh they convincingly defeated the Antrim champions, Dunloy in the Ulster IFC final on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-3.

Ballinagh reach Ulster Final
Ballinagh produced a spirited display to qualify for the final of the Ulster club intermediate football championship when they proved too strong for Donegal side Fanad Gaels at Casement Park, Belfast on Sunday last. The next challenge for the Cavan champions is a meeting with Antrim side Dunloy in Healy Park, Omagh on Sunday next at 2 o.c.

Ballinagh club have won another adult football competition this season - they are the reigning intermediate champions - when they defeated Laragh Utd. in the Cavan Junior C Championship final played at St. Felim's Park, Drumalee on Sunday, 21st of October.

Ballinagh capture elusive crown
Ballinagh made up for last season's disappointment when they were defeated by Drumalee in the IFC final after a replay, when on Sunday last at Kingspan/Breffni Park, Cavan they won their third intermediate championship title when they defeated Lavey on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-9 in what was an interesting decider between two determined sides. Ballinagh started the game well and were ahead by 0-5 to 0-2. However, Lavey came back well and finished the half trailing by one point 0-5 to 0-4. here as a first paragraph it will appear under the subject on the homepage

Ballinagh put consolation to there Intermediate Final defeat when they battled there way to the club's first ever Division 1 title, last Saturday in St. Felim's Park, Drumalee by surprising a fancied Gowna side on a scoreline of 2-08 to 0-08.

The eagerly looked forward to Cavan IFC final between Ballinagh and Drumalee at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan on Sunday last, 8th of October proved something of a 'damp squib', as both sides struggled to find their true form, and ended in a draw 0-7 apiece.

Ballinagh overcame their semi-final challenge at the second attempt on Saturday last 23rd September against a gallant Ballyhaise side on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-7 in favour of the Ballinagh men.

ACFL Div 1: Ballinagh v Drumgoon
On Wednesday night last Ballinagh continued their impressive form in Division 1 of the Senior league with a narrow two-point victory over a hungry Drumgoon side. Drumgoon, sitting at the foot of the table and with a mere two points registered so far this year, defectively needed a win. With both teams unable to field full strength teams, spectators were left to witness what was a 'below average' game of football.

Ballinagh continued their excellent run of form in division 1 with a comfortable victory over a disappointing ballyhaise side. While conditions on the day were ideal, dry with little wind, the over-hard ground was possibly a due cause, to injuries experienced by both teams.

Frankie Connolly (1961-2005)
The news of the death of Ballinagh native Frankie Connolly in New York saddened all local gaels. A former stalwart of the club in the '70s', Frankie maintained close links with the club and his many friends in Ballinagh.
